Full Stack Engineer:
We have built a full loan origination and servicing platform using Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React and Postgres, all of which is hosted entirely in AWS (Amazon Web Services). We are in the process of migrating over to Kubernetes.
As a full stack developer, you will be joining an existing team of ten. All team members are encouraged to work across the entire stack and embrace the DevOps approach that we follow. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to work on any part of the system, infrastructure or build/ deploy tooling, delivering new features and enhancing existing functionality.
Our technology stack:
- Ruby on Rails (v6)
- TypeScript (v4.5.5) / React (v16.13.1)
- Postgres (v14)
- Docker / Kubernetes
- AWS (including RDS, S3, EKS, IAM, Redshift, KMS, ...)
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in and passion for technology
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Degree in a relevant subject (computer science, mathematics, science etc.)
- We are also open to receiving applications from candidates without a formal degree but with relevant commercial experience
- Commercial experience in a full stack engineering role having used frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, Express etc, or front end technologies such as React]S or TypeScript
- Exposure to SQL and a relational database (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, SQLServer, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Experience with a version control system (preferably Git)
- Desire to learn on the job and gain deep understanding of the systems/tools that we use
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS/Cloud infrastructure
- Comfortable using Unix command line
